Nature Therapy p.2

TRAUMA
The ongoing changes have had a big impact on many, creating uncertainty which lead to fear and new traumas. Most people have experienced some kind of trauma in their life, either personally or as a witness of a traumatic experience. But there has been already a lot of trauma before which has been past down from generation to generation.

We often don't realize when a trauma is triggered. Many of our re/actions relate to some deeper emotions which we have experienced in a completely different context, but the feeling suggests that our subconscious perception fears the same outcome as in the past. E.g.something 'stirs us up' or causes some kind of panic feeling in us and we become stressed for 'seemingly no reason'. The reactions vary from person to person and there is no doubt that a therapist and practitioner should be consulted for a propper and deeper treatment.

The concept of Nature therapy is to provide an additional support. It shall strenghten your resilience by enabling you to take control over your feelings and thoughts when threat appears. With several trainings in trauma, over 10 years counselling experience with vulnerable people and dozens of nature education workshops you will receive an eclectic range of exercises and self empowering tools in the beautiful setting of Mother nature.

Nature is a universal safe space. There is no judgement, no title is needed, no certificate, no language, no skills and most of all: no pressure. In nature we are all equal and welcomed. It seems kitchy, but it is all about feelings. Forests and parks or green spaces are the best places to access open-mindedness and calm body, mind and soul. It is therefore the easiest and most unique option to connect to our inner core, build self confidence and experience the HERE and NOW.
